Kids Voting Ohio’s Exemplar Citizen Scholarship

2024 Scholarship Applications NOW OPEN - Deadline April 19th!

 
  • Kids Voting Ohio is offering $1000 scholarship opportunities to graduating seniors in Central Ohio. The funding for this program is brought to you by our Education Partner, the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio.

  • Eligible applicants must be a graduating senior (Spring 2024) within the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio’s member districts which includes the following counties: Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Ross, and Union.

    The scholarship will go directly to the recipients’ College, University, Trade School, or other educational program. We understand that many students may not know what school/program they will be attending at this time. Scholarship applicants and recipients who did not initially provide this information can provide this information up until June 15, 2024.

  • We are offering two Exemplar Citizen Scholarship opportunities at this time. One is focused on Merit and the other is focused on writing skill. Please view the scholarship rubrics to determine which application is best suited for you. Applicants can apply to for both, but are only eligible to receive one.

  • Complete the scholarship application and submit all components by April 4th, 2023. We accept electronic versions submitted online or via email. We also accept mailed applications. If you need a printed version of the application, please let us know, and we will mail you a paper copy with a return envelope. Contact us by email scholarships@kidsvotingohio.org.
