KVO’s mock election software, DoubleClick Democracy, can be used on any electronic device that connects to the internet. Ballots can be completely customized to include candidate races, issues, and fun ballot measures.

  • Our mock election prep packets provide a variety of ways to prepare your students for voting day. These packets can be utilized for all grade levels and subjects. Prep packets can be found below. We encourage you to engage your students in these lessons and activities to prepare them for casting a vote.

  • Mock elections can be hosted within individual classrooms or school-wide. We suggest having students leave the classroom to cast their vote (i.e. a computer lab, library, cafeteria) to create the setting of going to vote. Each student will have their own voter ID when participating in the mock election, and results can be ready as soon as the next day. We will provide voting stickers for students. Mock elections do NOT have to be hosted on election day, but should be conducted prior to election day if possible.
